Janaki Haridas is a sophomore at Great Valley High School. She has had a keen interest in dance at a very young age. Janaki has been learning Bharatanatyam under Smt. Ramaa Ramesh since she was 5 years old. Janaki has represented Nardhana in various shows and performances. She has started to expand her dance knowledge by studying ballet and hip-hop. With the intention of imparting her passion for dance and sharing an awareness of it’s culture and history, Janaki is teaching the younger students at Nardhana under the guidance of her guru. She aspires to establish her name as a professional dancer and is determined to have dance as her lifelong passion.
