You are both blessed to have Ramaa aunty as your Guru, very supportive musicians from India, and our very own Rathi singing to make your arangetram memorable. The evening began beautifully with a fast-paced Anjali, followed by a warming rendition of Sharanu Siddhi. I particularly enjoyed Brochevarevarura, where you both expertly portrayed the contrasting natures of Guhan and Sri Rama. Maitri’s radiant smile and Nandhana’s restless, anxious Guha were perfectly fitting. Neelambari, known for inducing sleep, was brought to life with Ramana Sir's melodious flute and Ramesh Sir’s divine veena; however, Bama akka and Rathi ensured we remained captivated. With Ramaa aunty and Shankar Sir overseeing, your powerful performance of the varnam truly impressed all of us.
Maitri, your rendition of the Durga Devi song was delightful, adding a new “Smile lambhal” (smile + ambhal) to the list of Devis.
Nandana, your charming "Mudhugare" was truly “Kiss-worthy”.
It was a great honor to witness your Thillana, composed by your own Guru. Such opportunities are rare, and you both seized it admirably.
Much respect and affection to Rathi, Bama akka, Jaishankar Sir, Ramesh Sir, and Ramana Sir for their tireless dedication to making this arangetram notable. Namaskarams to Guru Ramaa for nurturing the skills and talents that each of you possesses.
