Akshara,
This is Sangeetha aunty, Ramaa Aunty’s friend. I thoroughly enjoyed your arangetram today. Thanks to you and your parents for extending the invite to us.
What a spectacular arangetram today. I felt as though I attended Upanyasam sapthagam, but a visual one! You started with a cheerful Anjali and ended with joyful Thillana, and the In-betweens were a meaningful and spiritual journey. I’m still in awe of Ramaa Aunty’s choreography that was tailored for you and your family. I feel like you understood the Guru Ashtakam, took it to heart, and followed it to a T. Nama Ramayanam was one of my favorite. 108 names, 108 bhavam, along with suyamvaram and yudham… exceptional. I have to show your dance to our sloka group so we can recite the Nama Ramayanam knowing the bhavam too. You educated the whole audience today, and I don’t mind calling you a teacher! Namaskaram to your Guru Ramaa aunty for choreographing this for you with utmost devotion. Rathi and Vignesh took it to another level along with Swetha and Visveshwar.
I wish I had an extra pair of eyes to enjoy Ramaa Aunty and Rathi and also enjoy your dancing during the Varnam. I felt I was at a tennis match, constantly looking and admiring them while immediately shifting my eyes to enjoy your dancing to the Reetigowla Varnam. The prelude played by Swetha and Visveshwar was soooo melodious. Kudos to Vignesh and Rathi showing a million variations when they sang the phrase “ Gopi Gopa”. Knowing that you can recite the whole Bhagavad Geetha, I can imagine how special you would have felt dancing to the varnam that ended with Vishvaroopam. We all were lucky to witness it through your dance. Rendering the slokam with beautiful pronunciation, Rathi and Vignesh made it very emotional. Akshara, you are blessed to have Ramaa aunty as your Guru.
Bho sambho, Durga Lakshmi Saraswathi were phenomenal. Sriman Narayana in Rathi’s voice .. sweet nectar and you showing the Dasavataram was fabulous.
Only Ramaa aunty can think of a Thillana like this and it was just out of this world. What creativity! Thanks for bringing Ramaa Aunty’s vision to life. Namaskaram to Dr. Laxmisha for his wonderful support and I could see he thoroughly enjoyed playing this Thillana. Beautiful mangalam praying for the well-being of one and all and thanking all the great men in the world! “Endaro mahaanubhavulu Andariki Vandanamulu”, now it’s my turn to say “vandanam” to you for giving us a wonderful treat tonight.
Praying Goddess Kamakshi and Lord Nataraja that you succeed in all that you do. Best wishes for your future and continue to learn more scriptures and slokams. Spread the knowledge and one day you can become a Guru and teach the next generation.
Love,
Sangeetha Aunty
